Free Stuff To Do In Vegas

After A Day Of Enjoying Free Attractions, Have A Great Inexpensive Meal At A Secret Pizza Place! Las Vegas offers a wealth of free and inexpensive things to do, it is just a matter of finding them! Here are some free things to do on the strip, that are entertaining for the entire family. For instance, you can begin at a centrally located hotel, like the Bellagio Hotel pretty much in the center of the strip, and find enough to do to fill up an entire day of enjoying free attractions! Be sure to check out the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, and the Fountains of Bellagio while you're at the Bellagio Hotel. And one of the best "free" attractions found on the strip? People watching! But seriously, from Bellagio, it is a relatively short walk to Treasure Island, where in the evening, visitors are thrilled by two pirate ships and a show put on by very talented and artists and gymnasts known as "The Sirens Of Treasure Island." Enough to thrill any lover and fancier of the pirate lifestyle, this is a fun attraction to visit for families. Kids of all ages will enjoy this wonderful pirate themed attraction. From Treasure Island, it's another short walk to the Mirage hotel where visitors can watch the free volcano shows. Different times of the year, the volcano show will change times that they occur, but generally the show is featured on the top of each hour, sometimes more often during the summer and during busy tourist seasons. From there, it's a bit of a trek, or hop onto one of the buses and visit "Circus Circus." A playground for kids of ALL ages, there is a fun and family friendly circus show that happens each 1/2 hour from 11 am until Midnight. After visiting Circus Circus, the fashion show at fashion show mall is another fun event to take in. Fashion shows are done five days a week, up to seven times a day. They take place on an 80 foot runway-stage that is retractable, and is anchored to a 784 square foot stage inside of "The Great Hall" a large venue located in the Fashion Show's new west wing. Watch as the runway and stage rise almost as if by magic out of the floor of the shopping center several times each day. There are also state of the art special effects incorporated into the show such as snow and fog! On the way back up the strip, there are several hotels that offer the opportunity to enjoy "Dueling Piano" shows. Harrah's has a nice show, which starts at 9 pm and goes until 2 or 3 am, and a venue called "Napoleon's" at the Paris Hotel also has a dueling piano show featuring songs from the 1950's through today. This show takes place from 9 pm until 1 pm nightly.
